Security sources in Burkina Faso reported that at least 12 people were killed in a terrorist attack by gunmen in the north of the country.
And Agence France-Presse quoted the sources as saying: A group of terrorists attacked the village of Orima, about ten kilometers from Wahigoya, the capital of the northern region, where they opened fire on a group of young people, killing seven of them on the spot and three people who were in their homes with stray bullets. Two others, who were shot, died of their wounds.
The sources pointed out that operations are underway in the region in search of terrorists, pointing to the imposition of a curfew in the wake of the attack throughout the northern region on the border with Mali, which is constantly targeted by terrorists.
