Social and left-wing movements, grouped in the Unidad Piquetera bloc,
gather this Monday on Avenida 9 de Julio
where they promised
to camp for 48 hours
in front of the Ministry of Social Development of the Nation of Victoria Tolosa Paz.
They are gathered with posters and tents to demand greater assistance and the
reversal of the suspension of beneficiaries of the Potenciar Trabajo plan.
It is about a protest that the picketers had announced earlier and that although it was going to start after noon, it finally started after
4:30 p.m.
when the first protesters began to arrive.
The main left-wing groups present are the
Polo Obrero, Barrios de Pie Libres del Sur and the MST Teresa Vive
, who are protesting against the official with a battery of claims centered on
cutting plans.

They all arrived at the building located on 9 de Julio and Belgrano in different groups: in the Once area, in Pueyrredón and Miter, a column from the Front of Organizations in Struggle began to gather after 1 p.m. while in Constitución, in Lima and Juan de Garay, another piquetero column grouped together to move to the ministerial headquarters.
The central column of the Piquetero Unit arrived from the area of the Obelisk.
One met on 9 de Julio and Corrientes and another on 9 de Julio and Independencia.
Tolosa Paz's criticism of the piqueteros
The Minister of Social Development of the Nation, Victoria Tolosa Paz, criticized the piqueteros when they promised to carry out a three-day "permanence" in front of the ministerial headquarters.
"I ask (Eduardo) Belliboni that instead of camping, make a long queue on July 9 so that we can validate the identity of one by one, faster," the minister said on radio Diez.
Then the minister again pointed to the interests of the groups: "The discussion is political and we have to use it at the polls, not using the poorest people in Argentina," she said during the interview.
In addition, it specified that during the validation process that began in November 2022, more than 93% of the beneficiaries of the program checked their Identity to continue receiving income.
It represents a total of 1,279,000 people.
The minister said that in the provinces there are also places where people can attend to perform the validation.
"He (Belliboni) wants me to liquidate those who did not validate and it would be unfair to all those who have validated it," she insisted.
