Since the start of the Russian invasion of his country, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had not yet made an official visit to Poland, his most fervent ally.
In Warsaw, a solemnity combined with a palpable emotion thus accompanied, on Wednesday, President Zelensky's trip, demonstrating to what extent the bilateral relationship has become fusional.
Shortly after his arrival in the morning, the Ukrainian head of state was decorated with Poland's highest state honor, the Order of the White Eagle.

Never in history have there been such warm relations between our two countries
,” declared Zelensky in the Polish presidential palace, accompanied by his counterpart, Andrzej Duda.
Poland, of which 73% of the population considers that the war in Ukraine threatens the security of their own country, has distinguished itself within NATO by the military support granted to its eastern neighbour.
After supplying tanks, Warsaw has just delivered eight planes…
