A payment from Meghan and Harry's Archewell Foundation to Michelle Obama's former press secretary suggests the Duchess of Sussex has political ambitions.

After a hugely successful stint as an actress on the legal series Suits and perhaps a not-so-successful stint as a member of the Royal Family, the Duchess of Sussex now appears to be aiming for a political career.
In doing so, she apparently relies on prominent support.

wants to know that Archewell, the joint foundation of Meghan and Prince Harry (38), paid more than 100,000 US dollars (around 92,000 euros) to Katie McCormick Lelyveld, the former Michelle Obama's press secretary.
McCormick Lelyveld worked for the former First Lady from 2007 to 2011, and she also did public relations for ex-presidential candidates Hillary Clinton (75) and John Kerry (79).
Meghan Markle as a blogger
In 2014, Meghan Markle launched her lifestyle blog, The Tig, which she named after her favorite wine, Tignanello.
Of her first sip, she said, "It was an aha moment at its finest.
It was a 'Tig' moment for me.” Members of the royal family aren't actually allowed to blog personally, which is why Meghan shut down the blog in April 2017 after almost three years.
Now could be the time for a comeback.
