at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival is based on true events and the gripping book by Foreign Press Association Award-winning journalist Alex Perry.
The series tells the story of the daughter of Lea Garofalo (Micaela Ramazzotti), Denise (Gaia Girace), and of Maria Concetta Cacciola (Simona Distefano) and Giuseppina Pesce (Valentina Bellè), three women who dare to challenge the mafia. Ndrangheta and try to kill her from within.
To do so, they enlist the help of Anna Colace (Barbara Chichiarelli), a newly arrived prosecutor in Calabria who has a strategy to overthrow the 'Ndrangheta clans: focus on women.
