"After the late frost episode in April 2021, we installed six antifreeze towers"

, explains Bruno Delannoy, president of the Vinet-Delpech distillery.

He operates, in Saint-Ciers-Champagne, a vineyard of 110 hectares of grape varieties for cognac.

“These large fans equipped with two blades perched on a 12-meter mast start automatically when the temperature reaches +1.6°C.

They make it possible to capture the less cold air located in height and to bring it back to ground level in order to prevent the temperature from dropping too much.
