, one of the members of the leadership triumvirate, supported this Sunday the Government's decision to exempt a series of additional agreements common to workers from different activities from the payment of Income Tax.
The measure, which will become official this Monday and was exclusively anticipated by Clarín, will benefit some
613,000 workers
affected by the tax, who with the new tax exemptions will have
an improvement in pocket wages of between 7% and 16%

"From the #CGT we accompany the rapid response of the Government to resolve our request to the Minister of Economy @SergioMassa, to exempt different conventional additions from the computation in the calculation of income tax for all workers," said Daer through a publication in his account on the social network Twitter.
The Cegetista triumvirate was one of the leaders who in recent days met with the Minister of Economy to demand that the tax exemptions of additional agreements recently granted to various unions, such as the cases of oil workers, be extended to all workers reached by Gains , banking and mechanics of Smata, among others.

This Monday the head of the SSIP, Claudia Balestrini, will issue the opinion that will determine the scope of the exceptions that will later be endorsed by a resolution.
The new benefit will be extended to three categories of additional agreements: firstly, the supplements for bonuses for productivity, cash failure or concepts of a similar nature;
a second package that will include mobility payments, travel expenses and other similar compensation;
and finally the additional ones for overtime, rotating shift and the like will be incorporated.
The measure will cover the wages of workers in all activities that contain these additions and are reached by Profits, a universe that -according to official calculations- reaches at least 613,000 workers.
Regarding the effective impact on the pocket salary of these workers, Economy estimates that it will be located on average between 7% and 16%.
In the case of bank employees, who have already obtained a private opinion, the exception meant a salary increase of between 7% and 8%.
