Thierry-Dominique Hombrecht is a Dominican religious, doctor HDR in philosophy, and doctor in theology. He is the author of numerous books, including "

If it is true that Notre-Dame cathedral, after the inventory of the disaster, then the months of securing the building, has entered its reconstruction phase, with in particular that of its spire, which will soon pierce the Parisian sky, it is somewhat the same with the conscience of the Catholics of France.
Calcined by too many outbreaks of fire, weakened by disarray or by anger, this conscience aspires however only to stand up again in the heights, in the open wind perhaps, with even at the top too French risks of twirls of the rooster, but in the fresh air.
Rebuilding the spire of its pride, such is the task of the Catholic Church.
