the
Sino- American, Emmanuel Macron has distanced himself from a file that could in the years to come be caught in the storm.
According to him, Europe must stay away from “
crises that are not its own
”.
As if it could stay away, without suffering the consequences, from a forced annexation of Taiwan by China.
Americans, Democrats and Republicans alike, have tried to disengage from Europe since Barack Obama to concentrate all their geopolitical and military forces in Asia, in order to counter the increasingly threatening rise in power of China.
In vain.
The war waged by Russia, a nuclear, revisionist and imperialist power, in Ukraine has forced them to maintain their commitment to the Old Continent.
