The Mexican Coast Guard and Navy are searching for three US sailors who went missing on April 4 near Mazatlán, in the Mexican state of Sinaloa, as they sailed to San Diego, California aboard a sailboat.

, the Coast Guard reported in a statement, set sail that day aboard the
Ocean Bound
, a 44-foot sailboat,
and were scheduled to arrive in Cabo San Lucas two days later. to stock up before continuing on to San Diego.
Rescue teams contacted all the marinas in Baja California, Mexico, but no one reported seeing the sailboat.
Urgent maritime information broadcasts have been broadcast on VHF requesting ships in the area to remain alert.
