In the process, the chairman had filed a request for interim relief with the administrative court for measures to be taken.
On March 29, the court, accompanied by lawyers and police, went to the site to ascertain the facts.
According to the procedure, a report had been drawn up and a hearing scheduled for April 4, with a summons from the Ministry of the Interior.
No lawyer or representative of Place Beauvau had yet made the trip.
The day before, the ministry had contented itself with submitting a statement of defense to the courts, asking the court to dismiss the Nice lawyers' request.
