The second edition of the charity run "Giro di Monaco - Run for Peace" through the old town wants to get thousands of Munich residents to take part.
Munich – At the end of April, the charity run “Giro di Monaco – Run for Peace” will take place in Munich for the second time.
At its first edition on May 15, 2022, it successfully persuaded thousands of Munich residents to take part. According to the city portal, far more than the 6,600 people who initially registered took part.
Altogether, donations of 125,000 euros were achieved.

The charity run will take place on April 30 in Munich and will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
According to the Munich city portal, the proceeds finance “Bellevue di Monaco projects to support refugees”.
Patron is Lord Mayor Dieter Reiter (SPD).

Among other things, via Twitter, the call was again made to register for the charity run.
Those interested can do so on the website, where you can also donate.
The route of the charity run through the city center of Munich is a total of five kilometers long.
The start and finish area is Blumenstrasse, between Corneliusstrasse and Fraunhoferstrasse.
There is a water station, drinks and food sales, seating, information stands, live music and much more," the city portal informs.

Charity run in Munich - many stars support the campaign
Musical support is also provided: according to

the band Dreiviertelblut, the rappers Fiva and Gündelein and other musicians will be performing.
Many celebrities, especially from sports, also support the charity run.
The event's website features football stars Manuel Neuer and Claudio Pizarro, as well as cabaret artist Martina Schwarzmann.
Finally, the organizers also inform that registered runners can pick up their “running shirts from the café, Müllerstraße 6” every day between 12 noon and 6 p.m. – except on Sundays.
