For the second time, after a few days, the Trento TAR suspends a decree for the culling of a bear, signed a few hours earlier by the governor Maurizio Fugatti.
As already happened for Jj4, the administrative judges, pending the hearing on the appeal presented by animal welfare associations, allow the capture but not the suppression of the bear.
The 18-year-old male attacked a hiker in Val di Rabbi in early March.
"With these numbers, coexistence is impossible", reiterated the president of the Province of Trento Maurizio Fugatti.
The governor highlighted "the process started yesterday with the environment ministry which, through its diplomatic channels, will look for spaces outside our country to accommodate the excess numbers, which even the Tar now says are relevant".
