2023-04-23T15:48:07.441Z

In a radio interview, the presidential spokesperson stated that "the image is not that of a country in crisis."

After President

Alberto Fernández

announced that he will not be a candidate in the next elections,

Gabriela Cerruti

took a position on the official internal party and affirmed that it is possible to go to a STEP

"with a candidate from the unity, but not from the unity of a single industry"

.

"The President is getting off a right that he had constitutionally in a scenario where nobody is Coca Cola in the desert. It is not that he is getting off because we know that there is a candidate who wins by walking. No. The truth is that the scenario is so volatile , so broken, that there is no clear leadership," Cerruti said.

In dialogue with Futurock, the presidential spokesperson indicated that "none of the political forces has a clear and winning candidate", and stated that "it is a scenario similar to that of 2019, when in March of that year it was not known that Alberto could reach be president".

Cerruti affirmed that the President "is going to support some of the candidates" and that he would like "it to be one of the legacies of his Government."

And he stressed that he "hopes" that there will be

a democratization

within the political space of the Front and that there will be no "finger" in the closures.

"I hope that all those who feel that they can be candidates can present themselves in the different instances that allow us to have a revitalization of the space. We

can go to a STEP or have a candidate from the unity of the entire Front, not from the unity of a single sector

", affirmed Cerruti.
