The sea winds of northern Europe and offshore wind turbines will be in the spotlight this Monday in Ostend (Belgium), where the leaders of nine European countries meet for the second edition of the North Sea Summit.
Around the Belgian Prime Minister, Alexander De Croo, Emmanuel Macron, the German Olaf Scholz, the Dutch Mark Rutte, the Danish Mette Frederiksen, the Irish Leo Varadkar and the Luxembourger Xavier Bettel.
Two non-EU countries are also taking part: Norway and the United Kingdom.
Also present are Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson.
Just like a hundred industrialists in the sector, from turbine producers to transport network managers.
Suffice to say that the North Sea club is on the rise.
