The Supreme Court ruled: Palestinians must be allowed to participate in the joint memorial ceremony - voila! news

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant in a statement near the scene of the attack in the Jordan Valley, April 7, 2023 (Elad Malka)

This evening (Sunday) the Supreme Court unanimously accepted the petition filed against Defense Minister Yoav Galant's decision to categorically refuse the entry of approximately one hundred and fifty Palestinians residents of Judea and Samaria into Israeli territory, for the purpose of their participation in a joint commemoration ceremony for Israelis and Palestinians to be held on the eve of Memorial Day.

However, the High Court of Justice clarified that the granting of entry permits to Israel should be allowed, subject to an individual examination and the absence of a security obstacle to the entry of any of those who wish to enter and participate in the ceremony.
