In the wind of Earth Day, celebrated on Saturday by France and many countries, Les Républicains (LR) have decided to take ecology head on.
This is not the first time that the party has taken the measure of what represents for it a real political problem: if, in the past, the right has proved that it has been able to take historic initiatives in this area, it does not is, today, more perceived as the reference on the subject.
Result: between voters attentive to the question of ecological transition and Les Républicains, a deep gap has widened.
And in particular, in the big metropolises.
