The Pinellas County coroner said Taylen Mosley drowned, according to the St. Petersburg police statement.

His father, Thomas Mosley, 21, was charged with first-degree murder in the boy's death, and also faces a murder charge in the death of the boy's mother, Pashun Jeffery, 20, who was found stabbed to death. in his apartment.

Police accuse Mosley of throwing his son into Lake Maggiore, where he was found dead inside the alligator's mouth on March 31.
