Many gendarmes broke into Sévérac, a town of 1,700 inhabitants located in Loire-Atlantique, on the borders of Morbihan and Ille et Vilaine, on Wednesday morning.
And for good reason: a tobacco press was robbed.

, a male individual whose face was partially concealed entered the business and threatened the manager with a weapon, potentially fake, according to the police.
The man then went to cigarettes before stealing twenty packets.
He then fled in a vehicle, heading for Brittany.
No injuries are reported.

An “exceptional” robbery for the municipality
Immediately alerted, the gendarmes arrived on the spot and warned their counterparts in neighboring departments.
A helicopter was mobilized, as well as the brigades, the PSIG (National Gendarmerie Surveillance and Intervention Platoon) and the EDSR (Departmental Road Safety Squadron).
The companies of Saint-Nazaire and Châteaubriant were on the spot.
The investigations were to continue with the hearing of the victim and the neighborhood survey.
