For this extended weekend of May 1, the weather promises to be unstable, especially from the South-West to the Auvergne Rhône Alpes region. The Mediterranean coastline is protected, as are Brittany and the Channel coasts.

This extended weekend risks being marred by thunderstorms and showers in many regions, without reaching them all.

Saturday is probably the nicest day, on the northern half at least.

Sunday, the weather looks unstable, and remains so until Monday, blocking the eastern regions where the weather remains very rainy, according to the Weather Channel *.

SATURDAY

In the North-West, from the Pays de la Loire to Normandy and Brittany

, the weather remained gray and foggy in the morning, dotted with fog, in weather similar to that of the day before on the coasts.

The mists dissipate slowly, until the clearings finally break through.

The minimum temperatures range from 9 to 10°C, the maximum from 16 to 20°C.

For Île-de-France, Haute-Normandie, Hauts-de-France and Centre-Val-de-Loire

, low clouds and fog dominate the morning, which announces very gray weather.

The grayness is slowly dissipating, with the return of clearings at midday.

Sun and clouds coexist, for a fairly mild weather in the afternoon.

The minimum temperatures range from 9 to 10°C, the maximum from 16 to 19°C.

In the North-East, from Champagne-Ardenne to the Grand-Est

, the weather remained gray and foggy in the morning, slowly overcome by a few clearings.

Here too, the weather is variable in the afternoon, without wind and without showers, quite mild.

The minimum temperatures range from 9 to 13°C, the maximum from 15 to 18°C.

the weather is calm after the stormy showers of the night, in a foggy atmosphere in the morning.

The afternoon is variable.

The minimum temperatures range from 13 to 15°C, the maximum from 20 to 21°C.

From the south of Aquitaine to the Midi-Pyrénées region, the Central massif, the middle Rhône valley and the Northern Alps

, the weather is gloomy and stormy.

Heavy showers can hamper traffic in the morning and surprise travelers.

Sustained rain falls especially between the Cévennes and Isère, however thunderstorms also break out in the plains of the Garonne and strengthen during the day.

At the end of the afternoon, the strongest thunderstorms raged over the Pyrenees, between Andorra and Ariège, and towards the Pyrénées-Orientales in the early evening.

The minimum temperatures range from 13 to 17°C, the maximum from 19 to 23°C.

In the South-East,

finally, the weather is mild but quite cloudy, especially in Languedoc-Roussillon.

Sea mist and low clouds can populate the sky along the coasts.

A veiled sun then remains during the day.

At the end of the afternoon, thunderstorms broke out over the Pyrenees, the Cévennes, and the Southern Alps.

However, they spared the coast at first.

Corsica is maintaining pleasant weather.

The minimum temperatures are concentrated between 14 and 16°C, the maximum between 17 and 24°C.

Sunday

This Sunday

promises to be unstable for the moment, particularly in the mountains, in the Pyrenees and the Alps.
