A mysterious creature was recorded at the zoo (@danceswithwerewolves)

At the zoo in Amarillo, Texas, they are still trying to solve a mystery that perplexed the city last summer.

The zoo's security cameras recorded a very strange creature walking around inside the perimeter fence in a frightening manner in the wee hours of the night.

The zoo staff who went through these photos have still not been able to understand the meaning of this creature, even though almost a year has passed since the documentation.

The other authorities in the city who investigated these photos also did not find a clue or a glimmer of hope to decipher what it was about.

In the city hall itself they will even pose if it is actually a chupacabra - a legendary monstrous creature from Latin America.

Those who believe in its existence claim that it is fed by preying on domestic animals and flocks, especially goats, which is why it earned the name "goat sucker".

The creature is described in legends as heavy, the size of a small bear with a row of thorns from the neck to the tail.

It moves quickly, and sucks the blood of small farm animals with a tube-like tongue.

To this day, no animal that fits this description has been recorded and therefore the Chupacabra has been given the same status as Bigfoot, Yeti or the Loch Ness monster - many believe in their existence, but no one has ever seen them.

The zoo uploaded this photo to Twitter last June, a month after the exposure of the photos and surfers were shocked and tried to guess what it was about.

Of course, among the surfers there were also many who were convinced that it was a Chupacabra.

If this is indeed true, then it explains what this animal was doing at the zoo at night, but of course this is just a wild guess.

Michael Kashova, the director of parks and amusement parks in Amarillo, commented on this creature in an interview: "We like to get feedback from our community about what they think it is. It's a very unique and completely real picture."

As of now, the mystery has not yet been solved and it is doubtful that it will be solved.
