2023-04-30T14:44:39.419Z

After passing through Lollapalooza, the successful Puerto Rican artist will return with his own show at Movistar Arena.

Gabriel Armando Mora Quintero, better known simply as

Mora

, enjoyed massive success as a producer of hits like

Una Vez

and the remix of

Volando

, both together with Bad Bunny.

He is now seeking recognition as a soloist

and already has a third album.

Without a doubt, reggaeton is going through one of its best moments.

The urban genre floods the charts of all platforms with millions of views and different names that become stars overnight without much explanation.

Mora's case

seems to be one that fits perfectly in this, but his story shows otherwise.

Mora during Lollapalooza Argentina 2022

I didn't want to be a singer

“I didn't want to be a singer;

I started producing.

Trying to avoid it, because it gave me fear and anxiety until one day I cheered up and it was for the best, ”she says in an exclusive chat with

Clarín

.

Mora began in what is known as the big leagues

, working with the greatest exponents of the moment: Jhay Cortez, Feid, Eladio Carrión, as well as Bad Bunny.

And between sessions he was shaping his own project.

Judging by his success, he made the right decision, but now he faces a new challenge:

conquering the Argentine public with his own show.

The appointment will be on October 1 at the Movistar Arena, within the framework of his "Estela Tour 2023" that will take him through the main cities of Latin America.

Your visit to Lollapalooza Argentina

Mora already had a sample of the fervor of the local public

, when he participated in the last edition of Lollapalooza Argentina.

Her presentation was on day 2 of the festival.

“I was kind of nervous, but because I had never come to have my show as such.

Luckily my nervousness went away when I climbed on the stage and I felt the energy ”she recalls enthusiastically.

It was a schedule full of different proposals: at the same time bands like You Point It To Me and Jane's Addiction were playing, but

his call surprised everyone, including him.

"Considering that there were many big artists who sang more or less at the same time as me, I was very surprised by the call. I did not expect it," he said.

Quevedo's presence

Mora surprised the local public with the visit of Quevedo.

His show at Lollapalooza had one of the surprises of the festival:

the presence of the Spanish Quevedo to interpret BZRP Music Sessions #52

, which became the most listened to song of 2022.

How did you come up with that idea?

Quevedo is my friend.

I gave him the formal invitation and I told him if you want, let's go to the Lolla, which are in Chile and Argentina, which are next to each other.

You have never sung there, neither have I.

At first he didn't want to sing the song he has with Bizarrap.

I had to give him a little therapy.

-How is that?

-Yes, a therapy session explaining why he had to sing it.

I told him, "You've never sung it here and if you climb up to sing two songs and go without singing that song, people are going to be very upset with you, do you understand?"

It was very strange for him to sing a song of his at one of my shows, but I explained to him that in Puerto Rico that happens all the time.

And it all turned out alright in the end.

-Yes, except that

he sprained his ankle before starting

.

I arrived, we were going to play basketball in the backstage because there was a basket.

Quevedo tried to do an NBA stunt, fell and sprained his ankle 30 minutes before he was due, so we had to improvise a bit because his ankle was that big.

That's why in the video he doesn't jump, but he is static because he has a bandage on his ankle.

"Estela Tour"

Mora will perform his first concert in Argentina as part of his tour "Estela Tour"

“Estela Tour” is the name of the tour that this year will take Mora through Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia and our country.

This announcement comes after several achievements obtained from a consecration year for Mora, with the release of his two most recent albums.

For example

, Microdosis

has surpassed one billion streams on Spotify since its launch in April 2022. The album's title track,

Memorias

, has earned four platinum certifications.

Meanwhile,

Paraíso

, his most recent album, has more than 500 million views on Spotify and was certified gold in Spain, Chile and Colombia.

His followers, his collaborations and the success of his songs show that Mora is one of the most prolific artists and his show promises to be one of the great events for fans of the urban genre.
