At the same time, the employment agency reports many vacancies.
District
- The unemployment rate in the Miesbach district fell significantly by 0.3 points in April and is now at 2.5 percent.
This is reported by the responsible employment agency in Rosenheim.
1,414 citizens were registered as unemployed as of the reporting date, 782 of them at the agency office in Holzkirchen, 146 fewer than in the previous month.
5740 vacancies reported
The district is responsible for looking after recipients of unemployment benefit II.
632 people are registered as unemployed there, two fewer than in March.
The job center looks after a total of 1,334 employable beneficiaries.
In the agency's entire area of responsibility, the rate was 2.6 percent (previous month: 2.7 percent).
The absolute number fell by 290 to 8,020. The agency currently has 5,740 vacancies.
