”.
In the Assembly, hardly a single text escapes this mantra.
The President of the Republic himself made himself the spokesperson, during a speech devoted to the debates to come on the end of life.
Because, for lack of an absolute majority in the Lower House, the executive had, over the months, to try "
compromise
" and "
negotiations
" with the different political forces that make up the Hemicycle of the Palais Bourbon.
And the government has never ceased to promise a
"new method"
, more focused on
"consultation"
with the opposition.
With more or less success depending on the texts.

On the renewable energy law, the macronists, for example, were able to count on the collaboration of the socialists, who finally voted for the text.
Same thing on the nuclear acceleration bill, where the majority succeeded in working with the communists and the LR right.
Ditto finally on the transpartisan weeks…
