US Vice President Kamala Harris reminded Thursday the heads of major artificial intelligence companies, invited to the White House, that they have a "moral" duty

protect society from the potential dangers of this major technology.

The vice president, who met at the White House with leaders from Google, Microsoft, OpenAi and Anthropic, said AI has the "
potential to improve people's lives and tackle some of the biggest challenges of society.
