The former governor of Entre Ríos, Sergio Urribarri, could not justify 9 million dollars of his estate

The former Israeli ambassador, convicted of corruption a year ago, is being investigated for illicit enrichment. He must declare on June 14.

, directed by Daniel Enz, the former Argentine ambassador to Israel could not explain a total of 11,546,772 pesos (about 1,813,590 dollars);

7,245,441 dollars and 16,300 euros.

some 9,077,031 dollars,

Between January 2008 and December 2015, Urribarri increased his assets in an incredible way.

-a man very close to the ex-governor and designated in his province as his figurehead- were key to analyzing the numbers of the Peronist militant.

The two experts worked together since June 2020 and

although the result was not known until now.


Suspicious expenses, year by year

2008

: In June, he bought an apartment in Puerto Madero.

.

he spent $35,350 to travel to Greece

, where he was playing soccer for his son Bruno.

2009

: he spent $7,500 to buy business class air tickets to Greece and Madrid for Bruno Urribarri's wife and $9,113 on tickets in the name of coach Víctor Bernay from Concordia, for him to travel to Spain and Greece.

Bruno Urribarri's mother-in-law also traveled.

In addition, he bought his wife, Analía Aguilera,

a Rolex watch for which he paid 97,394 pesos

2010: in February, he paid $4,953 for the trip to Greece for Franco Urribarri, Mauro Urribarri, Analía Aguilera, Mateo Urribarri and Sergio Urribarri.

In March, he spent 

another $20,648 for a new trip to Greece

 with his family, and booked a package tour to Rome and Paris for all of them for $39,823.

That trip came to fruition in March 2010.

In July, Urribarri and his wife used the passport again to travel to Athens and Jerez, for $19,022.

The 2010 expertise indicated that the former governor 

could not justify spending 550,935 pesos and 371,463 dollars.

2011

: 117,698 pesos (something like 27,000 dollars) were paid in more air tickets.

They also paid $11,747 in hotel expenses abroad.

In March, he spent $10,701 for trips to Cancun with his wife.

In August of that year,

the couple went on vacation to Venice and Sardinia.

They paid $21,424

.

On that trip, the ex-governor's wife paid 2,200 euros for the purchase of Murano glass sculptures, made in Venice.

For the -short- time they were in Argentina, in November the Urribarri bought a Ford Focus.

They paid 117,000 pesos (just over $23,000), but they registered it in the name of Rubén Martínez, another of Urribarri's alleged front men who was also charged in the case.

In December 2011, Urribarri made $8,146 pay for the trips to London by the former governor, the former head of Energy, Raúl Arroyo (husband of the member of the Superior Court of Justice, Claudia Mizawak);

and the image consultant, Sergio Gómez.

could not justify 3,636,000 pesos and 48,511 dollars.
