spoke amid the controversy over the sanction imposed on him by
PSG
.
The Argentine soccer player shared a video on his Instagram
account
of him in which he apologized to the institution and his players.
"Hello, well... I wanted to make this video after everything that's happening," Leo begins by saying, dressed in a suit and without a tie, with a white background behind him.
With a sad tone, three days after the two-week ban imposed on him by PSG, Messi begins by apologizing, focusing on his teammates.
"First of all, I apologize to my teammates, to the club...", says Leo, who quickly explains why he traveled to Saudi Arabia, unleashing an unprecedented controversy in these two years that he has been playing in France.
"I thought we were going to be free after the game, as had been happening in the previous weeks. I had organized this trip to Arabia, which I had previously canceled and I couldn't," Leo justified himself.
"I apologize for what I did and I'm here waiting for what the club decides, nothing more, a hug," Messi says goodbye.
