Some things can only happen in Australia.
A couple staying at a resort in Queensland had to call a trapper, not before they found a temporary solution - vacuuming up a snake that popped up in their room.
The couple recognized the snake and called the trapping services.
The woman, as far as she was concerned, did not hesitate.
Instead of freezing on the yeast she took the vacuum cleaner and just cleaned the little snake into it.
When the catcher called, they told him that "there is no need to come, we got along", but he did not give up.
"I told them it's illegal to leave it in the bag, because it's a protected species," explained trapper Drew Godfrey, they understood and were glad we came
. By the hands of a vacuum cleaner."
The snake, by the way, is a battered yellow-faced snake, a species common in Australia. It is venomous, but not considered dangerous to humans. "I have been bitten three times by such a snake," said Godfrey, "the sensation is like a bee sting." .
