France is an enigma.
It has supported the ideal of freedom for all peoples, built the model of the modern state and the notion of sovereignty, adapted ancient citizenship to modern times, designed exceptional industrial objects, shared the discovery of vaccination , inaugurated, with the Sorbonne, these places of transmission of knowledge, open to the poor.
Its monuments, its gardens, its literature, some of its political and religious figures have given all men of taste a second homeland.
But France allowed itself to be invaded by the most hideous, stupid and intolerant forms of deconstruction affecting its past, its language, its culture, its social structures.
It has opened up to financial predators from all over the world and to immigration at the antipodes of its civilizational melting pot, turned a blind eye to its strategic dependencies, universalized its social rights to the detriment of its citizens.
