After Jewish Power and religious Zionism harshly criticized the release of the bodies of the Lions' Cave terrorists and made a link to the issue of the captives and the missing, the Minister of Defense responded at the cabinet meeting and said that these were "dangerous and harmful statements, there is no connection between the body of a terrorist in the Kikioni organization in Yosh and Sinwar in Gaza."

Defense Minister Yoav Galant responded today (Sunday) during the cabinet meeting to the harsh criticism voiced by Otzma Yehudit and Minister Itamar Ben Gabir for the release of the bodies of three Gov Aryot terrorists over the weekend, as well as for Minister Orit Struck's words that she was ashamed to pass by the families of the captives in Gaza.

In the meantime, Gallant claimed that "these are officers who have seen much less bodies of terrorists than I have."

According to him, these are "dangerous and harmful statements".

Gallant added that "the words of the minister and the minister in the government are nonsense. The bodies of terrorists do not constitute an asset that affects the terrorist organizations, except in exceptional cases specifically related to Hamas. There is no connection between the body of a terrorist in an organization in the Kikioni organization in Judea and Samaria and Sinwar's decisions in Gaza - it is not interesting them".

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also addressed the criticism of the release of the terrorists and said during the meeting: "We are not giving up on the return of the captives and the missing. We are busy with this all the time."

Last Friday, it will be recalled, Israel handed over to the Palestinian Authority three bodies of terrorists who were killed in a shooting ambush at the Jit junction about a month and a half ago, on March 12.

As in any event in which the bodies of Palestinian terrorists are returned to PA territories, this is done with the approval of Defense Minister Yoav Galant, Chief of Staff Lt. Col. Harzi Halevi, Commander of the Central Command Maj. Gen. Yehuda Fox, Coordinator of Government Operations in the Territories Maj. Gen. Rasan Aliyan and the Shin Bet. The Minister of National

Security Itamar Ben Gvir criticized the decision and said: "The decision of Defense Minister Galant to return the bodies of the terrorists, members of the terrorist organization Gov Aryot, which carried out a large part of the attacks in Yosh in recent times, is a serious mistake that will cost us dearly. This government is a right-wing government and the public did not let us A mandate to return the bodies of terrorists or to avoid bombing Gaza."

Earlier today, Ben Gabir and Otzma Yehudit Ministers Yitzhak Weserlauf and Amichai Eliyahu boycotted the government meeting in protest of the government's policy.

Otzma Yehudit said that a final decision had not yet been made, but that the step was being considered, among other things, in light of the decision to return the bodies of the terrorists.

Those around the minister said that "for him, there must be a policy change to the right. Starting with targeted forces, a military operation, a death penalty law for terrorists, an immunity law for soldiers, the removal of Khan al-Ahmar and the other promises made during and after the election period."

Ben Gvir clarified this weekend that his party will continue boycotting the votes in the Knesset until the government changes its policy.

Not only are they avoiding targeted threats, now they are also returning the bodies of terrorists and simply eliminating Israeli deterrence This evil government is surrendering to terrorism."

It should be noted that the terrorists were shot dead on March 12, after they opened fire on a military post near the Jit junction in Samaria.

The incident began when a force of the Golani Brigade carried out a proactive activity in the area, then the terrorists fired at the position.

The fighters returned fire and hit the militants.

Afterwards, three M-16 rifles, a pistol and cartridges were found on them.
