“Illegal” village
In 2019, the right-wing NGO Regavim, which says it campaigns to "
preserve national lands
", seized the Supreme Court to force the government to destroy it.
Last February, the Supreme Court granted a new three-month delay to the government.
And on Sunday, this court, while repeating that the village is "
illegal
", considered that the arguments presented by the government to once again postpone its demolition are sufficiently convincing to grant a new reprieve, but this time, without setting a date. .

," Regavim reacted in a statement on Sunday.

The village of Khan al-Ahmar is located in Area C, that is to say under the military and administrative control of the Israeli State, which accuses the Palestinian Bedouins of having settled there illegally, knowing that it is practically impossible for Palestinians to obtain building permits in this area.
