How is the security operation of the Superclásico

The Superclásico that will be animated this Sunday by the two giants of Argentine soccer, River Plate and Boca Juniors, will be controlled by 1,400 members of the City Police, who will mount an operation before and after the game scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Monumental stadium.

In this context, according to the press office of the City Government, the operation will motivate the presence of 150 troops more than those arranged for the previous Superclásico played in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Núñez, which was last year and Boca won by 1 -0 with a goal from Colombian striker Sebastián Villa.

The reason for the increase in troops is linked to the increase in the capacity of the Monumental stadium, which after the latest reforms went from 65,000 to 84,000 people.

In addition, 120 cadets from the City Police career will carry out the controls of the Safe Tribune Program, in whose database there are thousands of people with the right of admission, whether due to acts of violence in soccer or due to judicial impediment.
