Munich – When it comes to traditional dishes of a culture or country, there are often clear ideas about what the food should look like in the end and especially how it has to be prepared. Recently, a young woman had to find out on social networks. She wanted to conjure up a new variation of spaghetti with tomato sauce on social networks and published her recipe on the Internet. The idea backfired thoroughly.

"Pasta trick" shows alleged recipe from Italy – woman prepares spaghetti in a blender

"I learned this pasta trick in Italy," she writes about the video, which was posted on Facebook's "The Pun Guys" page. The site posts numerous tricks and extraordinary ideas for cooking dishes in other ways. For example, the woman wants to conjure up new pasta from a pack of spaghetti. To do this, she first puts the entire contents of the package in a blender and grinds the spaghetti. She then mixes the "flour" with eggs and kneads a dough from the new mass.

In the last section, she rolls out the dough and cuts it into strips. The woman then cooks them like normal pasta and serves them with tomato sauce and Parmesan. "Look at these amazing noodles," she concludes by saying about her trick and tastes the dish. "They taste so fluffy." Spaghetti, meanwhile, is oftenfull of dangerous pesticides, as Öko-Test found out.

Pasta trick makes Italians' blood run cold: "There's a place in hell for that"

But there is no sign of euphoria in the comments under the video. Instead, there is a great outcry about the misused spaghetti. Some compatriots from Italy are particularly shocked. "There's no way you learned that in Italy. Never," the trained chef writes under the video. "I get angry if anyone believes this pasta mince that comes from Italy."

Other Italians also assert that the trick certainly did not come from Italy. Many non-Italians also find the recipe unappetizing. "It takes a lot of work to get an even more gruesome version of ready-made noodles and gravy out of the store," one user commented on the sight of the new noodles. Another even writes: "I'm not Italian and even I believe that there is a special place in hell for people like you!" (nz)

If you like to cook pasta frequently, you often have a suitable pasta grab in your kitchen drawer. Some expemplars are not only used to spread the spaghetti.
