In the small world of the left, one subject chases another. The inevitable fight against the pension reform already seems to have melted under the spring sun to give way to another debate: the hypothesis of a common list for the European elections of 2024. The Insubordinates are forcing to impose it despite the great reservations of the socialists and the categorical refusal of the ecologists. "We are not going to give up," warns an LFI official.

A first discussion organized in the secret of the Parisian night on Tuesday turned into a grab fair. Everyone stuck to their guns. Les Insoumise repeat that a common list would have a propelling effect and would allow the left to compete with the Macronist list and that of the RN. Necessarily a good omen three years before the presidential election. "Imagine otherwise what the media will say if Macron's list and that of the RN come out on top and neither of the left exceeds 15%. This will be a very bad signal sent to the French for 2027."
