Israel's Security Conference will be held today at the Wert Hotel in Jerusalem with the participation of public figures, politicians, senior reserve officers and more.
The conference is a collaboration of the "Securityists" movement and "Israel Hayom". Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to speak at the conference, as is Defense Minister Yoav Galant. In addition, interviews will be conducted with National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, Economy Minister Nir Barkat, former IDF Chief of Staff MK Gadi Eisenkot and Southern Command Chief of Staff Eliezer Toledano.
Other Arab countries
The conference will be hosted by some 300 senior members of the security movement, political and political leaders, senior defense officials and heads of organizations, and will be broadcast live on the Israel Hayom website from 14:30 p.m.
The conference participants are expected to discuss the Iranian campaign, the Abraham Accords, relations with the Palestinians, the day after Mahmoud Abbas, governance challenges, personal security, and more.
Following opening remarks by Amir Avivi, chairman of the "Securityists" movement, and movement member Maj. Gen. (res.) Gershon Hacohen, panels will be held on various topics. The first panel will deal with the Iranian campaign, the Abraham Accords, and the future of the region, in which former defense officials will discuss the Iranian regime's progress toward a military nuclear program, the implications of the dynamics between Arab states and Israel and the United States, and the possibility of expanding the Abraham Accords between Israel and other Arab countries. The panel will include Brig. Gen. (res.) Yossi Kuperwasser, Or Issachar, Ariel Kahane and Brig. Gen. Mil Hasson Hasson.
One-on-one interviews
Another panel will deal with the challenges of governance and personal security in Judea and Samaria, the north, the south, and the Arab sector. Retired Major General Aharon Aksol, Brig. Gen. (res.) Efi Eitam, Sarah Hatzni Cohen, Hanan Greenwood and Talia Lankri will discuss the challenges of enforcing governance and ways to strengthen it against illegal construction, sponsorship fees, the accumulation of illegal weapons and crime in the Arab sector.

Ben Dror Yemini, Yosef Haddad, Avital Leibovitch and Dror Idar will deal with the threat of delegitimization against the State of Israel, and examine how the state and its citizens are able to deal effectively with the threat.
A fourth panel, featuring Baruch Yadid, Khaled Abu Toama, Attorney Morris Hirsch, Boaz Kukia and Yaron Buskila will examine the future of the Palestinian Authority the day after Mahmoud Abbas, and will discuss the status of the PA vis-à-vis the strengthening of Hamas and PA-Israel relations in light of recent developments.
During the conference, a number of one-on-one interviews will be conducted with senior public figures. Ariel Kahane will interview Minister Nir Barkat, Itzik Saban will interview Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Amir Ivgi will interview MK Gadi Eisenkot. The conference will be moderated by Gil Sesover.
