This evening, the Lev Tel Aviv station received a complaint from a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of being attacked last Thursday night by a group of youths near the Azrieli Mall.

The boy sustained minor injuries and was evacuated to Ichilov Hospital for treatment, where he remained hospitalized for a day. According to the complaint, he was a 17-year-old man from Jaffa, who was about to enlist in an elite unit in the IDF. He claimed that after receiving a phone call near the mall, he answered in Arabic. Some youths heard him, shouted "Arab," ran toward him and beat him. During the attack, the boy's phone and watch were broken, and he was stabbed in the back.
