The media in the Gaza Strip reported rocket fire into the southern Gaza Strip. The IDF reportedly fired at a Hamas observation post. Another target in the shelling is an agricultural building in eastern Khan Yunis.
On Tuesday morning, the IDF launched Operation Shield and Arrow, during which three senior Islamic Jihad operatives were eliminated. Now, according to reports on the Arab networks, Hamas has also entered the picture.
In the attack that took place tonight in Gaza, the three were killed: Khalil Bahitani, responsible for the rocket fire into the area near the Gaza Strip last month; Tareq Izz al-Din, responsible for directing PIJ operations in the West Bank from the Gaza Strip; Jahad Ghannam, secretary of the military council of the terrorist organization.
