Iranian media reported on Tuesday a fire at a power plant in the city of Isfahan. A large fire reportedly broke out after a powerful explosion was heard.
The Iranian news agency reported that the power plant caught fire. A senior official in the Isfahan municipality said: "The fire brigade in the city received a report of a fire at the Martyr Abbas Bor power plant at 16:28 p.m. local time. Fire crews were dispatched to the scene."

The circumstances of the incident are still unclear, but sources in the Iranian opposition claimed that a drone that attacked the site was allegedly behind the explosion. Still, as of now, there is no official confirmation of this.
The incident comes amid a report on an Iranian opposition website claiming that the regime in Tehran was pressuring Hamas to join Islamic Jihad's response to the killing of its senior officials overnight.
Since the early hours of the morning, Hamas leaders abroad and its spokesmen on social media have spoken of "united resistance" and a "decisive response." However, the joint operations room statement issued by the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip stated less emphatically that "Israel will pay the price."
