By action or omission, the Arbitration Directorate of AFA, headed by Federico Beligoy, knew that it could not sit idly by. This Tuesday, when the designations of the matches of the date 16 of the Professional League were announced, Darío Herrera, Yael Falcón Pérez and Silvio Trucco, who were in the Superclásico of the scandal between River and Boca, did not appear included for next weekend.
Herrera was the main judge, with a bad overall performance beyond having hit the penalty that gave the agonizing triumph to the Millionaire; Falcón Pérez the fourth referee -who would be protected by his call to the Under-20 World Cup-; and Trucco was in charge of the VAR, without intervention at the time of the batahola, where according to the images could have been shown more than the six red (three per side).
One of the line judges, the experienced Juan Pablo Belatti, was also 'stopped', at least for field work. We will have to wait if any of them are included in the VAR teams. Pablo González, the other assistant referee in the Monumental, will have action in Gimnasia (LP) vs Lanús.
The Professional Football League, meanwhile, confirmed that Nicolás Ramírez will be the referee between River Plate, leader of the championship, and Talleres de Córdoba, in one of the matches corresponding to date 16, which will be played next Sunday at the Mario Alberto Kempes stadium in the capital of Córdoba.
