Under the new route, Pango will win customers who receive a parking ticket in cases of a mistake in choosing a city, operating the wrong area, or operating parking on the wrong vehicle. Protection will be valid for one parking ticket per year. In doing so, Pango continues to provide diverse solutions to its customers and drivers in Israel.
In 2022 alone, no less than 5.5 million inspector checks were recorded by Pango users or with the help of various electronic enforcement measures. The need for the new route centered on protection from parking tickets also arose in an analysis of usage data conducted by the app, which indicated that every month many thousands of Pango users operate parking on the wrong vehicle, which could expose them to a parking ticket.
In addition to the report protection service, the new route – SMART also includes the familiar services: "I moved" – which automatically terminates parking when the system detects that the vehicle is moving. "Parked" - which identifies when the vehicle has been parked, and sends the customer a reminder to activate the parking. "Personal reminder" - to extend parking when necessary by sending a mobile SMS message. "Fast parking lot payment" - fast parking with no parking activation fee. In addition, the SMART track provides a variety of "variable benefits such as the Pangocashbenefit in the Pango wallet" – accumulating money for refueling, riding public transportation and washing a car through Pango – for the use of blue and white parking, as well as the Dropomat benefit – for car wash at a reduced price at about 170 stations throughout the country.
