With a decision of several edges, the Federal Court of La Plata confirmed on Monday night the rulings of the federal judge of Lomas de Zamora Federico Villena in relation to the crew of the Venezuelan plane of Emtrasur that remains held in Ezeiza since June 2022 and on the aircraft considered that the proposal of nullity on the kidnapping of the same requested by the lawyers representing the Chavista regime, It became "abstract".
This then released the fate of the Emtrasur Boeing that belonged to the Iranian Mahan Air and on which sanctions weigh in the United States, to the US justice that recently requested its confiscation, as anticipated by Clarín.
The seizure, that is, the shipment in this case of the aircraft that is being maintained by special marshals of the United States, implies that in the coming days the aircraft should fly to that country, because in Argentina it would have already been released.
Likewise,the Ministry of Justice is in charge of transmitting this request to Villena, which no longer has a judicial case on the aircraft.
Meanwhile, the Federal Court also ruled on Monday the decision of Villena to dismiss 14 crew members of the aircraft and to dictate lack of merit on five others. The entire crew, however, left the country around the end of the year, after being held for months.
When lifting the precautionary measures on the plane and leaving it under the decision of the US justice, the Federal Court said that "taking into account what was resolved today in the framework of file FLP 26547/2022/14/CA9, as soon as the lifting of the precautionary measure weighing on the Boeing 747-300 aircraft was confirmed, registration YV-3531, it is not noticed, in the case, that the petitioner has a legitimate interest in the investigation". And with the rejection of the proposals, he gave the go-ahead for the plane to finally leave the country.
