Colmobil, Hyundai's importer, launches the Ioniq 6 in Israel, the manufacturer's third electric model in Israel and its official answer to the successful Tesla Model 3. The model arrives in Israel slightly later than expected, due to the importer's waiting for a relatively large available inventory, despite the expectation of sales in the first stage of several hundred cars, due to the preference of most customers for high recreational vehicles.

The Ioniq 6 was developed on Hyundai's E-GMP electric platform, which also serves the Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, joining the relatively limited electric sedan segment in Israel for the time being. Alongside a wonderfully aerodynamic body (0.21cd), the car is equipped with a unique design that will undoubtedly attract a lot of interest on the road, thanks in no small part to the drop-like text and a pair of Porsche-style spoilers installed at the rear.

In the cabin you will meet the manufacturer's new design language that we met in a similar edition in the Ioniq 5, with a pair of 12.3" screens, a separate interface for climate control and plenty of room for passengers thanks to a generous wheelbase of 295 cm. In the usability section, the car registers a variety of useful storage compartments, but the luggage compartment is relatively compact and has a volume of only 401 liters. The model will be marketed in Israel in 5 different versions, including full safety specifications in all of them, the highest safety score of the Ministry of Transport and a full score of 8 stars in crashing in the European test.

As standard, the equipment list includes: lightweight 18" wheels, blacked-out rear windshields, peripheral parking sensors, LED surround lighting, electric front seats, wireless mobile charging pad, steering wheel and front seat heating, and smartphone connectivity. Starting with the third trim level "Luxury", leather upholstery, smart LED matrix lights, and a panoramic glass roof are added, but the high finish level is absent from the menu and instead you get a Bose audio system.

The lineup will begin with an entry-level version with rear-wheel drive and an electric motor producing just 151 hp, which accelerates to 100 km/h in 8.8 seconds and a range of 429 km thanks to a 53 kWh battery. Above it will be offered a 228 hp version that accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and has the largest range in the model family, which stands at 614 km, thanks to a 77.4 kWh battery. The senior and sporty version for now in the family includes a pair of electric motors and all-wheel drive, A combined output of 325 hp and an acceleration of 5.1 seconds per 100 km/h alongside a driving range of up to 584 km. The Hyundai Ioniq 6 will start from NIS 213,900 for the basic rear-wheel drive version and NIS 237,900 for the powerful rear-wheel drive version with a long range (614 km).
