The federal and state governments are postponing their fundamental decision on permanently higher federal funds for refugee costs. This emerges from a decision that the prime ministers agreed with Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) on Wednesday evening. The decision in principle is to be made at the next regular meeting in November.
