Lionel Messi said goodbye to Sergio Busquets, after it was announced on Wednesday that the Spanish midfielder will leave Barcelona at the end of the season, and thanked him "for the inside and outside of the field", in an Instagram post.
"On the pitch always with the 5, but in reality, as a player and as a person you are a 10, Busi," the former Barca player wrote about his former teammate and friend.
Messi also highlighted all the moments he and Busquets spent together, "many good and some also complicated", and that will remain "forever". And he also wished him "the best" in his new stage, "both you and his whole family."

Busquets, captain of Barcelona, announced today that he will leave the Catalan club at the end of the season after 15 uninterrupted seasons, in which he played more than 700 games and won 31 titles.

Busquets will analyze his future away from Barcelona and according to the Catalan media could continue in Saudi Arabia or Inter Miami, in the MLS of the United States.
