This Wednesday, at night, Jorge Rial was discharged from the Finochietto Sanatorium and was able to return to his home, located in the neighborhood of Belgrano, where he continues his recovery after suffering a cardiac episode, in the last days of April, during his vacation in Bogotá, Colombia.
On his Instagram account, where he accumulates more than 1.2 million followers, the driver of Argenzuela (C5N, Monday through Friday at 15) shared a photo of himself at home.
"Already at home," said Rial, who was shown enjoying a cup of coffee, as he had done days ago in an image he shared from the Country Clinic, a medical institution where he was treated in Bogotá.
"Already at home." The photo shared by Jorge Rial on Instagram.
On Tuesday 9, at night, on a medical flight, Rial returned to Argentina and was transferred to Finochietto, where, at the request of his personal physician, Guillermo Capuya, he remained less than 24 hours under observation.
During that time, different information began to circulate about the state of health of the journalist and driver. To clarify, Rial spoke with Angel de Brito and clarified what his situation is.
"Today they gave you up for dead, they said you were in critical condition and they even talked about the possibility of (needing) a heart transplant," with which the driver of LAM (America, Monday to Friday at 20) wrote to his colleague. And Rial replied: "Hahaha, I'm fine. It's a brainless guy who threw away the transplant."
"I want to rest. It was a huge scare that, luckily and because of the Colombian doctors, I was able to overcome," said the former driver of Intrusos, who defined himself as "a survivor."
"I'm going to tell everything, I'm just assuming it and rebuilding," Rial explained in another message to De Brito.
"Talking now is fart," Rial continued. I need time to process everything. It was very strong what happened to me. Really, I am very tired: I spent five days in the Intensive Care Unit and three more in a room of the sanatorium, "said Rial, who said he does not know why medical reports were not disseminated during his hospitalization in Bogotá, Colombia: "I calculate that the situation overflowed or it will be a security measure of the clinic in the case of a foreigner ...".
And then he analyzed: "All this I had to go through in another country, far from my family and my friends. When I piece together everything that happened to me, I'm going to talk. Today, I want silence."
