It was the social dimension of "D&CO" that attracted her when she shot the first episodes in 2006. "We really went to people who were in the, with loans, who called us for help," she recalls. She adds with humor: "I saved libidos because we went to couples who lived in rooms that did not exist, with decorations where you can not find yourself in love in this kind of room. So it's true that parents often asked us for rooms a little cozy ... So it's true, that we saved libidos, too, really."
An environment hostile to women
On the construction sites, however, it took Valérie Damidot the will to impose herself. "It wasn't won!" confirms the host. "When I arrived and the guys understood that there was the site manager, but that it was me who decided everything... Ah! It's hostile to women on the construction site," she says. "So there are 80 guys watching you and that's when I really had to be the first to arrive on the site and the last part. And that I'm there saying 'no, but I'm not an animator guys, I'm going to do the work with you'" continues to detail Valérie Damidot at the table of "C à vous". An effort to be accepted that did not require such great sacrifices since she "feasted with tractors, excavators, masses". She assures it, if the channel M6 wants to relaunch "D&CO", she signs. "I loved doing this show!" concludes Valérie Damidot with a smile.
