After 20 years in his mansion, Billy Joel decided enough was enough. The successful Jewish artist, who just celebrated his 74th birthday last week, put his home up for sale in the village of Center Island, located about 50 kilometers from New York. The price he demands: $49 million.
Joel's next stop is Florida, where he will spend most of his time.

In recent years, Joel renovated the mansion with the intention of selling it and recently advertised it on the prestigious Sotheby's website. He bought the 105-acre home in 2002 for $22.5 million.

This is not one house but two, with the largest being 1,858 square meters and having five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The smaller house is more modest with only three rooms. In addition, there is a helipad, a floating pier and a mooring for boats. Nice.
