A boy shoots police officers in Midvale, Utah
Three people were shot dead Monday night in a residential neighborhood in the U.S. state of New Mexico. The police arrived at the scene and exchanged fire with the suspected shooter, during which two officers were wounded and the shooter, who was suspected of acting alone, was shot dead.
Several public schools in Farmington, where the shooting took place, were closed for safety reasons. But after the suspect was eliminated, the police announced that there was no longer a threat to the public, and they reopened.
