The head of the Buenos Aires Government was shown this Tuesday during the inauguration of the Metrobus del Bajo with the two PRO pre-candidates in the City for the next elections: Jorge Macri and Fernán Quirós.
During the ceremony, the community chief also ruled out that María Eugenia Vidal joins the internal dispute to succeed him as head of the Buenos Aires Government.
"The first thing is unity. We all agree with this system in Capital as in Province, as we announced yesterday. The candidacy in the City we are going to aim for there to be only one candidate of the PRO, "said Rodríguez Larreta.
At his side were the ministers of Government and Health, the two members of the Buenos Aires Cabinet who fought for the continuity of the PRO in the City.
"The process between now and the end of the month, we are going to do surveys and with that information we are going to make the decision. The candidates are Jorge Macri and Fernán Quirós," added the Buenos Aires president.
After the words of the head of government, Minister Macri highlighted the search for agreements within Together for Change and lower the tension of the conflicts over the candidacies, to "look for the best possible alternative" towards the elections.
"In the City of Buenos Aires, given the level of transformation, people want the PRO to continue supporting the things that have been achieved, solving the problems, and for that they ask us to remain united," Quirós said.
Both pre-candidates agreed that the way is the "dialogue" to settle the candidacies and put aside the disputes, something that society demands, said the Buenos Aires leaders during the act.
Mauricio Macri, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, Patricia Bullrich and María Eugenia Vidal held a new summit to announce agreements that lower tensions a little more than a month after the closure of lists.
