Li Hui, special representative for Eurasian affairs in charge of discussing the settlement of the armed conflict in Ukraine, is expected Tuesday and Wednesday in Kiev, a senior Ukrainian government official told AFP on Monday (May 15th). In addition to Ukraine and Poland, Li Hui is also scheduled to visit France, Germany and Russia, with a view to "a political settlement of the Ukrainian crisis," according to Beijing.
China has never publicly condemned Russian President Vladimir Putin for his invasion of Ukrainian territory.
